Our pontoons are built with full length risers
on both the inside and the outside of the pontoon. We do this to add strength to the pontoons and to make them easier
to retrofit to existing pontoon boats. We also build center pontoons for existing boats. The pontoons
that have motor mounts on them are rated for 150HP and can be built to handle more horsepower. The rating of the
pontoon does not mean that you can exceed the capacity plate on your boat. That is set by the manufacturer. We
can also put lifting strakes on our pontoons. We do not put lifting strakes on old
pontoons.
We can build
your pontoons with sealed bulkheads or with vented bulkheads. The vented bulkheads allow the pontoon to have one plug
at the rear of the pontoon to drain condensation. The pontoons with sealed bulkheads require that the plugs, for
each section be placed at the top of the pontoon just outside of the riser. We put a keel on the bottom of all
of our pontoons, and we can also add a keel to the side the pontoon to protect it from dents caused by pilings.
